Staff Sergeant Gavin Castillo
Staff Sergeant Gavin Castillo is the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of Administration, Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps, Detachment 020, University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona. In this role, he oversees cadet pay, scholarships, official travel, and civil involvements. Additionally, Sergeant Castillo serves as the detachment’s Cybersecurity Liaison, Security Clearance Manager, and Uniform Manager.
Sergeant Castillo enlisted in the United States Air Force in October 2021. His first assignment was with the 890th Missile Security Forces Squadron at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming, where he served in the Commander Support Staff. He later joined Headquarters Twentieth Air Force at F.E. Warren, serving as a Human Resources and Administration Technician, before assuming his current position. While assigned there, he managed the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) program supporting four wings and one direct reporting unit. He also served as the headquarters Cybersecurity Liaison.
