Fall 25' University of Arizona AFROTC Online Enrollment
If you cannot complete a step, please skip it and move on to the next one.
Step 1 - Create an account in WINGS
Please visit the WINGS website and click on "Apply for AFROTC" to create an account in WINGS.
*Save and remember your password! You will need it during New Cadet Orientation
After successfully creating an account in WINGS, complete the "My AFROTC Application" section of your WINGS profile. Follow the Application Guide for step-by-step instructions.
Please pay special attention to steps in 2.11, "Releases & Forms," and 2.11.1 of the Application Guide.
Step 2 - Register for Classes
Please visit the Class Sign-Up Guide for information on what AFROTC classes to register for.
NOTE: If you wish to come in as a Sophomore (AS200/AS250) or Freshman in the spring term (AS150), you must discuss this with the Recruiting Officer.
All students are required to register for Aerospace Studies, Leadership Laboratory, and Physical Training.
Step 3 - Enrollment Application
Complete the Enrollment Application. The form will walk you through the required steps and will prevent you from submitting the applications unless all required fields are populated. Select "Finish" once you are complete.
Step 4 - DoDMERB Form
Complete the DoDMERB Form. The form will walk you through the required steps and will prevent you from submitting the applications unless all required fields are populated. Select "Finish" once you are complete.
DoDMERB stands for "Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board" and is the medical process all cadets must undergo to be evaluated for military service. Continuation in the ROTC program depends on receiving a qualified medical evaluation through DoDMERB.
Step 5 - New Cadet Orientation Registration
August, 2025. (Final dates are still pending)
Complete the New Student Orientation Registration Form. Once we receive your response, we will email you the time and location details once they are finalized.
NOTE: Only parents or legal guardians can attend New Cadet Orientation with you.
Items Needed for New Cadet Orientation (NCO)
Complete the AFROTC Form 28 (Sports Physical). This must be completed before you can participate in physical training.
NOTE: The sports physical is valid for 1 year from the exam date. If it expires during the school year, you will need to reaccomplish it. We recommend completing it in August.
If you have a fully qualified DoDMERB, MEPS, or Form 422, you do not need to complete the AFROTC Form 28. You will also need to print it out for your medical authority; however, we will have blank copies available during NCO if you cannot complete it beforehand.
(Example: Speeding ticket / Tucson Police Department / May 2023 / paid fine and attended traffic school)
